Elaine connects Arizona’s homeless and underserved (e.g. low income, uninsured, seniors) to social and community services vital to an individual’s health and wellbeing.
By providing empathetic and accessible transportation, we reduce barriers to the Social Determinants of Health, including:
✔ Economic Opportunity: DES and bank visits
✔ Educational Opportunity: Parenting and financial literacy courses
✔ Social and Cultural Cohesion: Community centers and support groups
✔ Critical errands: Laundry, mobile phone providers etc.
✔ Healthcare: Medical appointments and prescription refills
✔ Food access: Grocery store and food boxes
✔ Employment: Interviews and day jobs
✔ Housing: Interviews and lease signings
✔ Criminal Justice: Court and case management appointments
